Lori Shahidi, D.O. is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology who specializes in the psychiatric evaluation, complementary therapy approach,  and medical management of an individual who is suffering from mental illness.  This Psychiatrist provides services and maintains a private practice in Southlake, Texas.

With a number of years of experience as a Psychiatric clinician, and a graduate of University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, specializing in psychiatry, she is currently serving a broad spectrum of patients.  Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Shahidi entered Psychiatric Residency at John Peter Smith where she was named Intern of the Year, Resident of the Year, and served as Chief Resident for two years.  Following completion of her resdiency training, Dr. Shahidi joined faculty for 2 years at UNTHSC at Fort Worth before beginning private practice in Southlake.  Among her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, addiction, and bariatric issues.

She is a dedicated medical professional who provides general care to specialized state of the art treatment.  She is committed providing specialized and individualized service, and a comprehensive treatment plan is created for each patient that comes into the office.  She believe the optimal way to provide excellent care is through continued attention and maintenance both on our part and yours.
